I forgot my keys

 Thank you so much for your birthday messages 💕💕💕 It was a fun birthday!


The family Osses made me tacos for my birthday! So so yummyyy. Nothing beats Mexican street tacos but still it was yummy. My companion got PopRocks mailed to her from her fam, so we brought them to my birthday dinner and made all the latinos try it for the first time. They were all super weirded out that a candy can do that. Thank goodness for food chemist William A. Mitchell for accidentally creating pop rocks in 1956. It was super funny.

We still have our couch
We found out that the couch is actually from a member! Not from the street! The guy forgot to come pick it up so we still got it for now.

Intercambios
I basically forgot my keys in my house and was locked out of the door but locked in the front gate. So we were stuck in the patio. With a long pole and a hook on the end, we made it out. Lol.


Saw my favorite family here. Why are they my favorites? Because we are their favorites!! The daughter always gives us cute little gifts with face masks and hair clips when we see her. She were showing us her guitar and I taught her how to play a little. The mom always gives us a calentito tecito (warm little cup of tea) with cookies and crackers. They have gone through a lot of stuff in their life but the mother daughter duo is the sweetest most loving relationship.
 
We spoke a lot about repentance. The fact that God is always ALWAYS wanting to forgive you and help you change for the better. He does not want you to turn away from him in shame. Thats what satan wants. Dont give in to what satan wants. Stay secure in your relationship with God.

Death by cats

I ate lunch at a sister's house! She had 5 cats and two dogs. She made pizzas for us by hand, really really yummy. But I think the pizzas had cat dander in it... annnd Im allergic to cats. so before I knew it I began sneezing sniffling and my lungs began to swell. I should have known that when my companion was sniffling too it would be bad. Later that day I went to a house with six cats. Yippee. At least the lessons went well and they felt loved. Proposals

  Hola todos! I got proposed to twice. One time went like this. "How do i get closer to God?"  "Go to church! Its down the road every Sunday at nine am!" "Okay. I want to marry one of you." Real slick. I was able to serve in the city for a day! In the mission we have one day every transfer where you get to switch companions. I was sent to the city with Hermana Crespo from Bolivia. We visited this home that housed about 20 people. Five little boys were playing soccer in the "house". I use quotes because there wasn't a roof in this section of the house. Well they allll started calling me "tia tia tia!" And I said "ay! Call me Hermana" and they all said "okay okay."       Ten mins later they started calling me "ella ella!" Exactly how my first name sounds.... huhhh?? Weird because they don't know my first name! Well I guess these kids call women "ella" because shortly later I heard them call ...

Thats a name of a person we tried to find this week. Ive been saying it nonstop in my head. Water in the ceilings.. condensation on the walls.. yup. The elders left the baptismal font running hot water all week after their baptism last sunday. They said that a good chunk of the mission is dealing with baptismal font problems so yay! Marked off my first one this week! Our friend who is 12 couldnt come to church because her ride canceled on us. I was praying while the church service was starting and Dayis just walks in and sits with us. She said she walked herself to an hermanas house, knocked the door, and made her take her to church. HAHAAA I LOVE GOD!! We baptized my friend Loreto yesterday! The dog we named Comida is always in town and sometimes follows us. Well these two little 7 year old girls run around this apartment complex and love Comida. Comida ran away, and the little girls started screaming "COMIDAAAA".
