I'm not in training anymore

In my mission we recieve transfer news the day before we are supposed to leave. We only get to find out which person in the companionship is leaving and who is staying. As the hours went by on news day neither me nor my companion knew if we were leaving or staying. So, we spent the whole day anxiously waiting for the text from our leaders and saying "possible" goodbyes to the ward members and our friends. Now I have a lot of "goodbye" selfies with people. We got the news at 6:30pm that night. 


Im staying in Zapadores Chile with Hermana Puchi for 6 more weeks.

This is awesome news! Especially since sickness ruined us last transfer. Its like we have a new fresh start and fresh transfer to work hard.

 
What is the best way to start out the transfer? Going to the ER! The whole situation was so drama. Took an uber, got placed in a wheelchair and little hospital robe, got an MRI scan then waited 3 hours to find out I still have a sinus infection. The same one from a month and a half ago. So so drama but I guess its a mission story.
Also made me laugh when they said "Estás embarazada?" Before putting me in the scanner, then shortly after said (in english) "pregnant?"

I saw so many blessings this week and the language barrier is fading fast. Every day I as I go to bed I think back about how the whole day was in spanish then I go 😯

I have three big dreams in my life 

1. Learn Spanish
2. Be able to play piano
3. Have and raise a loving family

In the direction Im heading, the Spanish thing is going well!! 

I love being in Chile so so much. The mission is my favorite and the longer I am here the more I grow to love it. Ive been in the same area all my time here and I have started to see home in the faces around me. Although I miss my home and my people at times, I know now is my time to be here in Chile and every moment is precious.

I ate lunch at a sister's house! She had 5 cats and two dogs. She made pizzas for us by hand, really really yummy. But I think the pizzas had cat dander in it... annnd Im allergic to cats. so before I knew it I began sneezing sniffling and my lungs began to swell.   Hola todos! I got proposed to twice. One time went like this. "How do i get closer to God?"  "Go to church! Its down the road every Sunday at nine am!" "Okay. I want to marry one of you." Real slick. I was able to serve in the city for a day! In the mission we have one day every transfer where you get to switch companions. I was sent to the city with Hermana Crespo from Bolivia. We visited this home that housed about 20 people. Five little boys were playing soccer in the "house". I use quotes because there wasn't a roof in this section of the house. Well they allll started calling me "tia tia tia!" And I said "ay! Call me Hermana" and they all said "okay okay."       Ten mins later they started calling me "ella ella!" Exactly how my first name sounds.... huhhh?? Weird because they don't know my first name! Well I guess these kids call women "ella" because shortly later I heard them call ...

Thats a name of a person we tried to find this week. Ive been saying it nonstop in my head. Water in the ceilings.. condensation on the walls.. yup. The elders left the baptismal font running hot water all week after their baptism last sunday. They said that a good chunk of the mission is dealing with baptismal font problems so yay! Marked off my first one this week! Our friend who is 12 couldnt come to church because her ride canceled on us. I was praying while the church service was starting and Dayis just walks in and sits with us. She said she walked herself to an hermanas house, knocked the door, and made her take her to church. HAHAAA I LOVE GOD!! We baptized my friend Loreto yesterday! The dog we named Comida is always in town and sometimes follows us. Well these two little 7 year old girls run around this apartment complex and love Comida. Comida ran away, and the little girls started screaming "COMIDAAAA".
