Two Bushes
I have a new companion! Her name is Hermana Puchi and she is from chile! That means very fast spanish. She also knows really great english so thats a blessing.
I got very sick this week from eating bad lettuce. I had to stay home from the work! Boo! Missed my moms hugs, but Ill get those soon enough.
Im now leading my companion because I know our area better. Its quite the switch up but Its cool to see all I am capable of!
After work on our way home for the night we walked through El Persa! A guy walked up holding two bushes and said "msjfnrowkdnsñ" (none of us understood)
Its not that funny now that im writing it out but it was funny in the moment. Just a guy holding two bushes.
Easter morning I was doubting the easter bunnys capability of visiting me in Chile. I was sad. But I went outside and on my door was a two bags of chocolate eggs!! I was so so happy. Thank you easter bunny.
Also,
Thank you Jesus Christ for your sacrifice! I spent some time reading the story of christs resurection and it is really fascinating. Take time to study a story in the scriptures. Its worth it!
People do not celebrate Easter here! I went to three houses for family home evening yesterday and zero eggs. It was weird. We did eat bread with cheese and cut up hot dogs on it...
My friend gave me homemade orange marmalade with a "you can do it" on the lid. Every time I open my fridge now I say "yeah I can!"
Theres a little girl named Dayis. She is the cutest and she is the neighbor of a girl we are teaching. She said
"I want my own lessons!!" So we said "okay go ask your mom!"
A week later we passed by to teach our friend and Dayis RUNS up to me and says "MY MOM SAID YES PLEASE TEACH ME!!" With a big hug. We taught her right after the neighbor and it was the sweetest. Every time we pass by and shes playing outside she screams "HOLAAAA!!" Across the street.
Dayis was my dream of becoming a missionary. Having a little girl run up to me wanting to learn the gospel. Im pretty happy out here.
