Lighning McQueen en Español
Hola hola! I am alive in la Ciudad de Mexico Missionary Training Center! Learning tons of Spanish and hating the conversion of dollars to pesos. 1 dollar is 21 pesos? Who decided that?
My companion is Hermana Hawkins from Utah. She plays volleyball and loves to match everything with me. We are both going to Chile Santiago Norte together! She and I don't know how to say socks in Español so we say feet clothes.
Here is my district
Left to right
Hermana DelHoyo (artsy photographer) Elder Gearheart (Georgian southern cowboy) Elder Blodgett (thrifty Idaho guy), Elder Woolstenhulme (band kid from Virginia) , Hermana Hawkins (volleyball master) and Elder Clifford (on BYU football team). We are all so different from each other, and we are all BEST FRIENDS!
We are lucky enough to have the new CCM president! Presidente Ruiz. He is super cool and says we will be better at Spanish and english than him
Mexico CCM is the most beautiful campus.
I am already getting tanned (sunburned) because we play sand volleyball every day. (Shout out Ava Dee. My volleyball girl) We do one Missionary training class and one language training class every day. We love our teachers because they let us be goofy. With our teacher, Hermano Barajas, we decided to prank him by scooting all our desks closer to him while he was teaching. He finally noticed when we were all 3 feet away from him. He is so timid so its funny. I taught him how to do a Utah fit check and also what "I call dibs" means.
Being a real missionary is baller, and I love getting to know everyone my age. EFY on steroids.
I taught a practice lesson in Español yesterday which was hard, but successful. It is an adventure here and I miss my dog but we have elders that are right out of high school so its pretty similar to having a dog.
Hermana Hawkins and I work hard on our studies and love to take photos and videos of random things so if you want to see way more Hermana Delhoyo content here is the link to my google album. Join it.

Spiritual thought
Mosiah 26:7
But king Mosiah said unto Alma: Behold, I judge them not; therefore I deliver them into thy hands to be judged
It is not our place to judge anyone EVER. It is Gods place. Fill your life with joy by loving your neighbor, not judging them.
So much love in my heart! If you want to message me send me an email!
